Wiper And Washer Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Rotate the steering wheel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below to the angle where the service hole is visible.

  4. While pressing the wiper and washer switch tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure below, pull out the wiper and washer switch in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure below, and detach the wiper and washer switch tab from the start stop unit.

  5. Remove the wiper and washer switch.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
