Indicator Unit Short-Cord Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Sensor cover (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Indicator unit (See INDICATOR UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Indicator unit short-cord (See INDICATOR UNIT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Verify that the continuity between the indicator unit short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

    • If not as indicated in the table, replace the indicator unit short-cord.
