DTC U3000-4B: Abnormal Temperature In EPS Control Module Is Detected [Electric Power Steering (EPS)]: Notes

WARNING:

The EPS control module temperature could become high and may cause a burn. Before performing the work, verify that the steering column is cold.

DTC U3000:4B [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC U3000:4B	EPS control module
DETECTION CONDITION	Abnormal temperature in EPS control module is detected
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION	Refer to "Fail-safe Function Table". (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)] .)
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Due to the continuously static steering, being turned to the lock end, or other causes, the internal temperature of the EPS control module is more than the specified value. EPS control module malfunction
