Down Switch: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the screw.

  3. Disconnect the down switch connector.

  4. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Verify that the continuity between down switch component terminals A and B.

    • If there is any malfunction, replace the down switch.
