Liftgate Latch Switch Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the liftgate opener switch. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
NOTE:- Press in the latch lever of the liftgate latch and lock actuator using a flathead screwdriver, and set it to the latched condition.
