CAUTION:

If using a vise, secure the steering gear to the vise using a copper plate or cloth to prevent steering gear damage.

Assemble in the order shown in the figure.
Install the steering gear and linkage to the front crossmember component. (See STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
