DTC C0049:85 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Inappropriate brake fluid level
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) receives a brake fluid error signal from the DSC HU/CM for 10 s.
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause	DSC HU/CM malfunction Brake fluid level malfunction Brake fluid level sensor connector or terminals malfunction Brake fluid level sensor malfunction Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
