U.S.A. And Canada: AWD: Notes
- Level the vehicle.
- Complete the "BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION". (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION .)
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Drain the fuel. (See FUEL DRAINING PROCEDURE .)
- Disconnect the following parts:
Main side
- Fuel pump unit connector (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Quick release connector (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Sub side
- Fuel gauge sender unit (sub) connector (See FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AWD] .)
- Remove the floor under cover. (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the HO2S connector. (See HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the HO2S clip from the body. (See HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the TWC and HO2S as a single unit. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the propeller shaft. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Complete the "AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION". (See AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION .)
