Cooling Fan Motor Inspection

- Verify that the battery is fully charged.
- Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals).
- Connect the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals) and a tester as shown in the figure.
- Verify that cooling fan motor operates smoothly at the standard current.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the cooling fan motor (See COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- 15.0-21.0 A [12 V]
