DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Start Stop Unit Error Signal

Detection condition

Communication error between start stop unit and radar unit

Fail-safe

Inhibits the Mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control ⁽¹⁾
Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control

Possible cause

DTCs are stored in the start stop unit.
Start stop unit malfunction
Radar unit malfunction
