SEDIMENTOR Switch Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Perform the "Fuel Line Safety Procedure" referring to the "BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION". (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION .)
- Drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
- Remove the sedimentor switch. (See FUEL FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that there is continuity when pulling up the float as shown in the figure.
- If there is no continuity, replace the sedimentor switch. (See FUEL FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
