Continuity Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals A-B.

- If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
