DTC U0428:62 (DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- While the vehicle is driven at 20 km/h or more, the DSC HU/CM cannot determine the steering angle neutral position for 2 min or more.
NOTE:
- Each time the ignition is switched ON, the DSC HU/CM calculates the steering angle neutral position based on the signals from each sensor and each module.
- If the vehicle is driven as follows Just after the engine is started, DTC U0428:62 may be output.
- Vehicle is accelerated rapidly while being steered right or left
- Vehicle is driven on abnormal road surface such as banked road
- Vehicle is driven on continuously curved road such as mountain road
- If the DTC is a past malfunction during DTC inspection, it does not indicate a vehicle malfunction.

- Vehicle is driven just after engine is started (in this case, vehicle is not malfunctioning)
- Vehicle is accelerated rapidly while being steered right or left
- Vehicle is driven on abnormal road surface such as banked road
- Vehicle is driven on continuously curved road such as mountain road
- Each sensor, module signal error caused by rough-road driving
- Poor connection at connectors (female terminal)
