| Detection condition |
- The AFS control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.

| Fail-safe |
- The swivel actuator is moved to the center.
- The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

| Possible cause |
NOTE:
- To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the AFS control module, 30 s or more have to be elapsed since the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on).
- Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.
- Instrument cluster malfunction
- AFS control module malfunction
