DTC P1886:00 (ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY PCM DTC Using the M-MDS, perform the PCM DTC inspection. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-D 2.2)].) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-D 2.2)].) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT THE AWD CONTROL MODULE Is correct AWD control module installed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Replace the AWD control module, then go to the next step. (See .)
3	COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING Write the coupling component calibration data. (See .)	-	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the AWD control module. (See CLEARING DTC (ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM) .) Using the M-MDS, perform the AWD control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION (ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM) .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the AWD control module. (See .)
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE (ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM) .)
5	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
