Location of use: Oil level plug

Oil and Chemical Type

Manual transaxle oil
Type: MAZDA LONG LIFE GEAR OIL G7

Park the vehicle on level ground.
Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the bolts and set the wiring harness and wiring harness bracket in a place which does not interfere with servicing.

Remove the oil level plug and gasket.

Verify that the manual transaxle oil is within the range shown in the figure.
- If it is not within the range, adjust the manual transaxle oil level.
Specified manual transaxle oil

MAZDA LONG LIFE GEAR OIL G7
Install a new gasket and the oil level plug.

Connect the wiring harness bracket to the manual transaxle.
