Rear Window Glass Installation Note
- Install the shim according to the number verified prior to removal.
- Install the rear window glass with the alignment marks aligned.
- Perform the retractable fastback adjustment. (See RETRACTABLE FASTBACK ADJUSTMENT
).
- Using the retractable fastback switch, keep the front roof half-open.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
)
- Disconnect the connector.

- Remove the caps.

- Place alignment marks on the rear window glass and rear window glass installation nut.
NOTE:
- If the rear window glass is to be used, positioning and adjustment during installation will be easier by placing marks for the installation before removal.
NOTE:
- Placing marks is not necessary if the rear window glass is to be replaced with a new one because there will be no marked positions.
- Remove the nuts and washers.

- Remove the shims.
- Remove the rear window glass.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. (See REAR WINDOW GLASS INSTALLATION NOTE )
- Install the shim according to the number verified prior to removal.
