Windshield Wiper De-Icer Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the windshield wiper de-icer connector. (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the resistance and continuity between the windshield wiper de-icer terminals is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the windshield. (See WINDSHIELD REMOVAL .) (See WINDSHIELD INSTALLATION .)
