Resistance Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Disconnect the exhaust shutter valve connector. (See Exhaust System Removal/Installation .)
- Inspect the resistance between exhaust shutter valve terminals A and B.

Exhaust shutter valve resistance (specification)
0.3-100 ohms [20 \xc2\xb0C {68 \xc2\xb0F}]
- If not within the specification, replace the TWC. (See Exhaust Shutter Valve Removal/Installation .)
