Front Console Box Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Pull the front console box in the direction of the arrow and remove it while detaching clips and pin.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
