Active Driving Display Short-Cord Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the battery. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
- Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder. (See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the clutch reserve hose from the master cylinder. (MTX) (See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Side wall (driver side) (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front heat duct (LH) (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Brake pedal (See BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Clutch pedal (MTX) (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
- Meter hood No. 2 (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Active driving display (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Active driving display short-cord (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between the active driving display short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the active driving display short-cord.
