Buckle Switch Inspection

Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
Remove the seat. (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the buckle. (See BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the buckle. (See BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
