Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL ). (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
NOTE:
- Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

- If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
