Body Control Module (BCM) Bracket Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Front scuff plate (LH). (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Front side trim (LH). (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module (with adaptive front lighting system (AFS)) (See ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. BCM (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the bolt.

  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the vehicle wiring harness clip.

  6. Remove the BCM bracket.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
