Front Seat Warmer Control Unit Removal/Installation
WARNING:
- Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the workshop service information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). - Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Release the tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure using a remover tool.
- Remove the front seat warmer control unit in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure with the tab released.
- Disconnect the front seat warmer control unit connector.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- When the passenger's seat is removed, perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS and verify that no DTCs are displayed. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)]

- If any DTCs are displayed, perform malfunction repair referring to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
- When the passenger's seat is replaced with a new one, perform the occupant classification sensor calibration using the M-MDS. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
