With Electric Parking Brake

Perform SAS control module configuration when replacing it. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING READ/WRITE FUNCTION) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
2. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Electric parking brake control module (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the harness clip.

Remove the bolt A.
Remove the bolts B.
Remove the electric parking brake control module bracket.
Connect the SAS control module connectors.

Remove the nuts.
Remove the SAS control module.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Verify that the air bag/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light illuminates for approx. 6 s and turns off.
- If the air bag/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light does not operate normally, refer to the on-board diagnostic system (air bag system) and perform inspection of the system. (See FLOWCHART [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
Perform the DSC related parts sensor initialization procedure (only when replacing the SAS control module with a new one). (See DSC RELATED PARTS SENSOR INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE .)
Perform the MRCC initialization setting. (See MRCC INITIALIZATION SETTING .)
NOTE:
- If configuration cannot be performed by reading/writing of the vehicle specification information, perform the configuration using As-Built information after replacing the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
