Primary Control Valve Body On-Vehicle Installation
CAUTION:
- Assemble the manual valve end and parking assist lever component correctly as shown in the figure.
- Assemble the primary control valve body, accumulator, and accumulator spring.

Tightening torque
8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
- Install the oil strainer.
- Install the TFT sensor to the oil strainer.
- Apply sealant (TB1217E or equivalent) to the contact surface of the oil pan.CAUTION:
- Clear oil sealant remaining on the contact surface of the transaxle case and oil pan, and clean the sealant area using detergent oil. Otherwise, oil could leak.
- Install the oil pan before the applied sealant starts to harden.CAUTION:
- The removed bolts with spring washer cannot be reused. If they are reused, it could loosen the bolts due to spring weakness.
Tightening torque
Flange bolt: 6.0-8.0 N.m {62-81 kgf.cm, 54-70 in.lbf}
Bolt with spring washer: 8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
- Add ATF. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .)
- Install the aerodynamic under cover. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Install the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Perform the mechanical system test. (See MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST .)
- Perform the road test. (See ROAD TEST .)
