Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY PCM DTCs Retrieve the PCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)] .) Is the DTC displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)] .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT BATTERY Inspect the battery. (Refer to BATTERY INSPECTION .) Is the battery normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Replace the battery, then go to Step 4. (Refer to BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3	INSPECT GENERATOR Inspect the generator. (Refer to GENERATOR INSPECTION .) Is the generator normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the generator, then go to the next step. (Refer to GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 5 s or more. Retrieve the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the auto leveling control module, then go to the next step. (Refer to AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE] .)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
