Engine coolant temperature compensation inspection

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Select the following PIDs: Refer too ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)] .)
- ECT
- IAT
- RPM
Verify that the engine is cold, then start the engine.
Verify that the engine speed decreases as the engine warms up.
- If the engine speed does not decrease or decreases slowly, inspect the following:
  - ECT sensor No. 1 and related wiring harness Refer too ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
  - Throttle body and related wiring harness Refer too THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
