Oil Cooler Installation Note

Completely remove any oil, dirt, or other foreign matter from the oil cooler seating surface and the oil cooler bolts.
CAUTION:
- Do not apply engine coolant to the following areas and parts. Otherwise, the O-ring could swell causing a seal malfunction.
  - O-ring installation groove of oil cooler
  - Oil cooler installation surface of cylinder block
  - O-ring
Install new O-rings to the oil cooler.

Temporarily tighten the oil cooler bolts until they are seated.
Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the figure.

Tightening torque
- 8-11 N. {82-112 kgf., 71-97 in.lbf}
Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the figure again.
