EGR Cooler Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
- Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the wiring harness clips from the EGR cooler.
- Disconnect the EGR valve connector. (Refer to EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the exhaust gas pressure sensor connector. (Refer to EXHAUST GAS PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2 connector. (Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

(See EXHAUST GAS PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) - Install in the reverse order of removal.
