Extractor Chamber Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear combination light (Refer to REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear splash shield (Refer to REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear bumper (Refer to REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Trunk covering (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Trunk board (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Trunk side pocket (Refer to TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Rear scuff plate (Refer to REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Third-row seat cushion (Refer to THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Third-row seat back component (Refer to THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    11. Trunk side trim (Refer to TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. While pressing the extractor chamber tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the extractor chamber in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the extractor chamber from the body.

  4. Remove the extractor chamber.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
