LED Illumination Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Glove compartment (Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Passenger-side decoration panel (Refer to DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper column cover (Refer to COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Driver-side decoration panel (Refer to DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Meter hood (Refer to METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Push button start (Refer to PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the push button start terminals and verify that the LED illuminates as indicated in the table.

- If the LED does not illuminate as indicated in the table, replace the push button start. (Refer to PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
