Mechanical System Test Preparation
- Apply the parking brake firmly, and set the wheel blocks for both the front and rear wheels.
- Inspect the engine coolant level. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL INSPECTION .)
- Inspect the engine oil level. (Refer to ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION .)
- Inspect the ATF level. (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION .)
- Inspect the ignition timing. (Refer to ENGINE TUNE-UP [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- Inspect the idle speed. (Refer to ENGINE TUNE-UP [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- Verify that no DTCs are stored.
