Dashboard Removal/Installation: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Windshield wiper arm and blade (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Meter hood (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- Parking brake lever (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove nuts A.
- Remove the rear console bracket.
- Disconnect the A/G unit connectors.
- Disconnect the dashboard harness connectors at the tunnel area and remove the wiring harness clip.
- Remove the bolts B and nuts C shown in the figure.
- Remove the dashboard bracket.
- Remove the bolt D.
- Remove the caps, then remove bolts E and bolts F.
- Move the dashboard in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2) shown in the figure, then remove the guide pin.
- Turn the dashboard 90° in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure.
- Take the dashboard off from the front driver-side door or front passenger-side door opening.
