Active Air Shutter Cover Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the active air shutter. (See ACTIVE AIR SHUTTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the screws.

  5. While pressing the frame tabs in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the active air shutter cover in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the active air shutter cover from the frame tabs.

  6. Detach all tabs and remove the active air shutter cover from the frame.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
