Indicator Unit Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Glove compartment (Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Decoration panel (Refer to DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper panel (Refer to UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (Refer to UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
4. Rear console (Refer to REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Shift lever knob (MTX) (Refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
6. Selector lever knob (ATX) (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Shift panel (Refer to SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Front console box (Refer to FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. CD player (with CD player) (Refer to CD PLAYER REMOVAL .) (Refer to CD PLAYER INSTALLATION .)
10. Side wall (Refer to SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
11. Front console (Refer to FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
12. Climate control unit (Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .) (Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] .)
While pressing the indicator unit tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure using the remover tool, press the indicator unit in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the indicator unit tabs from the climate control unit.

While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (3) shown in the figure, press the indicator unit in the direction of arrow (4) to detach the indicator unit tabs from the climate control unit.

Remove the indicator unit.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
