Rear Abs Wheel-Speed Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes
- For the 4SD, remove the following parts:
- Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- For the 5HB, remove the following parts:
- Trunk covering (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tire house trim (Refer to TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear package tray (Refer to REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side upper trim (Refer to TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Pull back the trunk side trim to a position which allows for the removal of the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor. (Refer to TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor connector.
- Press the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor tabs and press out the sensor toward the outside of the vehicle.
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, verify that there is no twisting in the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
