Front Accessory Socket Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Glove compartment (refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Decoration panel (refer to DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Upper panel (refer to UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (refer to UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
    4. Rear console (refer to REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Shift lever knob (MTX) (refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
    6. Selector lever knob (ATX) (refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Shift panel (refer to SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Front console box (refer to FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Side wall (refer to SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Front console (refer to FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    11. Front accessory socket (refer to FRONT ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Connect the tester probe to the position shown in the figure and verify that there is continuity.

    • If it cannot be verified, replace the front accessory socket.
