Request Switch Inspection: Liftgate

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Rear package tray (Refer to REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Liftgate upper trim (Refer to LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Liftgate side trim (Refer to LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Liftgate recess (Refer to LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Liftgate lower trim (Refer to LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Liftgate garnish (Refer to LIFTGATE GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Request switch (liftgate) (Refer to REQUEST SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the request switch.
