Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Set plate (Refer to SET PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Front bumper (Refer to FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Front combination light (Refer to FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Shroud upper member (Refer to SHROUD UPPER MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Crash zone sensor cover (Refer to CRASH ZONE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (Refer to HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
NOTE:
- Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

- If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch.
