Cruise Control Switch Inspection [LF]

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more  . (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .)
  3. Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector.
  5. Inspect for resistance and continuity between terminals B-C using a tester.
    • If not as specified, replace the cruise control switch. (See. AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
