Third-Row Seat Back Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Open the cargo net hook cover, remove the bolt.

  2. Remove the cargo net hook and cargo net hook cover.

  3. Slide the hook A shown below to detach it from the hook B.

  4. Remove the child-restraint seat anchor covers.

  5. Remove the rings C, remove the third-row seat back board.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the ring C when removing/installing it. If a damaged ring C is used, it could result in improper installation of the second-row seat cushion trim and the second-row cushion pad.
    • If the ring C is damaged, replace the ring C with a new one.

  6. Remove the screws.

  7. Release the pole guide tabs in the direction of arrow (1) shown, then pull the pole guide out in the direction of arrow (2).
  8. Remove the rings C from the third-row seat back lower part and backside, then remove the third-row seat back trim and the third-row seat back pad from the third-row seat back frame.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the ring C when removing/installing it. If a damaged ring C is used, it could result in improper installation of the second-row seat cushion trim and the second-row cushion pad.
    • If the ring C is damaged, replace the ring C with a new one.

  9. Remove the rings C in the order of (3), (4), (5), (6), then remove the third-row seat back trim from the third-row seat back pad.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the ring C when removing/installing it. If a damaged ring C is used, it could result in improper installation of the second-row seat cushion trim and the second-row cushion pad.
    • If the ring C is damaged, replace the ring C with a new one.

  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
