Courtesy Light Bulb Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure.CAUTION:
- If a flathead screwdriver is inserted into the gap between the front door trim and lens, the front door trim could interfere with the flathead screwdriver and be damaged. When removing the lens from the front door trim, perform the procedure after affixing protective tape to the front door trim.
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole in the position shown in the figure.
- Move the flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure to detach the lens tabs from the front door trim.
- Remove the lens.
- Remove the courtesy light bulb.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
