Trunk Lid Opener Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] )
- Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the trunk lid opener. (See TRUNK LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the corresponding the trunk lid opener terminals, and inspect the trunk lid opener operation.
- If the trunk lid opener does not operate as indicated in the chart, replace the trunk lid opener.
