Request Switch Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] )
  2. Remove the door trim. (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  3. Remove the outer handle. (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  4. Remove the request switch. (See REQUEST SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  5. Inspect for continuity between request switch terminals A and B.
    • If not as specified, replace the request switch.
