DTC U2023 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	INSPECT FOR PCM MALFUNCTION Turn the ignition switch to LOCK position. Using the M-MDS, perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [LF] . Are any DTCs detected?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. See DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS [LF]
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT Clear the DTCs from the memory. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM] ) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the PCM, then go to the next step. See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM] )
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
