Symptom Troubleshooting

Verify the symptoms, and perform troubleshooting according to the appropriate number.

TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM DESCRIPTIONS

No.

Symptom

Any of the following lights do not illuminate with the ignition to ON:

ABS warning light
Brake system warning light
TCS/DSC indicator light
TCS OFF indicator light

Any of the following lights stay on:

ABS warning light
TCS/DSC indicator light
TCS OFF indicator light

Brake system warning light stay on

There is a malfunction in the system even though ABS warning light, brake system warning light, TCS/DSC indicator light and TCS OFF indicator light do not illuminate

ABS or TCS⁽¹⁾ operates frequently

TCS does not work correctly

DSC⁽²⁾ operates frequently

DSC does not work correctly

TCS/DSC indicator light flashes (when neither the TCS nor the DSC are operating)

Hill launch assist (HLA) operates even on a downhill

Hill launch assist (HLA) does not operate on a slope

Master warning light stay on and a message "SCBS Inspection Required" is indicated in the display

⁽¹⁾	DSC system funtction contains traction control function, TCS/DSC indicatior light goes on and off while TCS operates

⁽²⁾	TCS/DSC indicator light goes on and off while DSC operates
