- After engine is started, shift solenoid E voltage is 0 V or does not change from B+
Diagnostic support note
- The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.

- Inhibits TCC control
- Maximizes line pressure
- Inhibits feedback control

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Coupler component connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between shift solenoid E terminal A and TCM terminal AK
- Short to GND in wiring harness between shift solenoid E terminal A and TCM terminal AK
- Shift solenoid E malfunction
- TCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between shift solenoid E terminal A and TCM terminal AK
- TCM malfunction
