Transaxle Range (Tr) Switch Adjustment
CAUTION:
- Do not allow foreign material or water to penetrate the connector. Otherwise, it could cause poor contact and corrosion.
- Apply the parking brake firmly and set the wheel blocks for both the front and rear wheels.
- Shift the selector lever to the N position.
- Disconnect the TR switch connector.
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the TR switch connector.
- Loosen the TR switch.
- Remove the clip and disconnect the selector cable from the manual shaft lever.
- Loosen the TR switch installation bolts.
- Adjust the TR switch.
- Verify that the manual shaft is in the N position.
- Adjust the resistance between TR switch terminals B and C to 713-787 ohms.
- Tighten the TR switch installation bolts.
Tightening torque
- 8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
